Laying The Sod Correctly.

-Keep foot and wheelbarrow traffic to a minimum on the final grade and newly laid Sod.

-Starting on one side, lay the Sod in a straight line along one edge trimming as necessary around the edging, trees, and sprinkler heads. Use a linoleum knife to cut the Sod.

-The rolls of Sod should be tight against each other without overlapping. Stagger the rolls so that the end seams are offset.

-When laying Sod on a hill, the rolls should be laid across the slope so that runoff does not erode along the seams.
